Allen’s Electric Motor Service, Inc. moved to their new location in Vivian, Louisiana in June, 2010. This relocation was part of a major restructuring and growth decision that Peggy Parker and her team determined as the best means of meeting the growing needs of their clients and the market the “A” Team of Allen’s services.

Allen’s team is daily reinforced with the management team’s philosophy, which includes quotes like: “Every job is a self-portrait of each member of the team who works on it. We autograph our work with Excellence.” Each member is reminded of their responsibility to the team in meeting the needs of customers. Parker constantly reminds her staff of their responsibilities or being better than what is expected of others.

Being in the small town of Vivian gives the team unique opportunities. They are often farther away of closer to their customers than the competition. And understanding the opportunity to be a better communicator and set the standard in customer service are watchwords for the Allen team. Another favorite slogan of Parker is: “The Sea of Change pulls customers in many directions. It is our responsibility to light the way and guide them before the competition does.” She never misses an opportunity to educate her staff at the newest training program or send help to customers about new opportunities that available to benefit their equipment.

The opportunity to provide the services of the three divisions of Allen’s brings customers a “One-Stop Shop” approach, which is not available anywhere else in the region. Besides have cross-trained staff members who understand the needs of clients that are met by the other divisions. The Allen’s Team members understand working together. Another of Peggy’s favorites is: “Teamwork can be summed up in five short words: We Believe in Each Other.”

So, as the “A” Team, Allen’s staff has adjusted to their new location by making new and better services available, in record time, and expanding the services and area they cover.
